Blue birds

When doing this painting I tried and failed with different techniques more times then I can count. At the end of the evening when I was both tired and frustrated I took a small piece of canvas, added blue and white paint on it and randomly pressed it against the canvas. Suddenly three birds appeared in front of my eyes. I then decided to build the entire panting around those birds.
